Growing Pepper

Peppers preferā€Ærich, loamy soil. You can easily get this soil type by tilling in an inch or so of good, organic compost. Be careful with nitrogen, though. Peppers react well to nitrogen, growing so quickly that they are more disease-prone and won’t produce as much. Most peppers mature inā€Æ60-90 days; hot peppers can take up to 150 days.Ā Ā

Peppers grow best in warm weather. Plant them only when all danger of cold weather has passed.Ā
